Sarah's breakfast

Sarah is now eating 2 solid meals a day, breakfast and dinner. Her breakfast is 2 tbs. spoons of rice cereal mixed with formula. But this morning that wasn't enough solids. She wanted to lick the bowl too!! She had the cereal in her hair, on both arms, both hands and all over her face. So cute. I had to grab the camera for this!

Sarah's first tooth

Over the weekend, Sarah's first tooth popped through. It is the bottom right.

Here is the forced tooth picture.

You can kind of see the little baby tooth.

Trick-or-Treating 2011

We had a blast last night. We hooked up with a couple of our neighbors and their kids so we had quite the group. The kids and the adults walked around the neighborhood for almost 1 1/2 hours. We were all frozen and tired when we  finally finished.

Katelyn is a Soccer Ref this year, Sarah is our little Monkey and
I just have a wig on with my Twilight/Eclipse t-shirt.

Kris and I were trying to blind each other. I tried to get him with the camera
but I forgot he had the flashlight.

Joey Sloan (Iron Man), Katelyn Hefner (Soccer Ref), Milena Williams
(Bat girl) and Ashlie Sloan (Princess).

Our little Monkey zonked out while we were out walking around. So cute.
I hope everyone had a great Halloween this year. Love you all!!

Miss Pridemore's Fall Harvest Party

Yesterday I helped with the Fall Harvest Party in Katelyn's class. There was 3 statins set up. The first one was the fun Cookie Math table. I helped with this one!! At this station the kids were able to frost their own cookies, figure out math equations for the number of decorations (the difference of 20-19=1. That was the number of candy corn they could take) and finally eat their creation. The second station was Pumpkin Math. Here the kids had to guess how much the pumpkin weighed, count how many seeds were in it (Miss Pridemore cleaned out the pumpkin the night before so the seeds were in a baggie) and then they had to count how many lines was on it. The third station was making a Spider Hat. A lot of black paper and a lot of staples.

Sarah was dressed up for the party in her Monkey costume.

Here is the Cookie Math station. The kids had to solve 3
"decoration equations".

Here is cute Cassie eating her creation. She was dressed
has a 50's girl.

Katelyn and I at the funnest station. Like my wig? haha

Here is Katelyn's class. Miss Pridemore dressed up as one of the
Angry Birds. Check out the Spider Hats. Can you spot Monkey?

Pumpkin Patch 2011

We went out in the mud to search for 4 pumpkins. Kris and I each got one, Katelyn got her own and Sarah got her first one. We went to a pumpkin patch not far from our house off of Hwy 18 called Mosby's Pumpkin Patch. The pictures turned out so cute.

Our sweet girls are getting so big. I love this picture.

Sarah, myself and Katelyn. Wow. Katelyn is up to my chin already.

Katelyn insisted on being in charge of the wheel-borrow. She was dodging
mud puddles and smushed pumpkins left and right.
