Our birthday

Until Katelyn decides NOT to have a combined bithday with me I'm going to charish these times with her. So the saturday after our actual birthdays, we went over to Mom and Dad's for dinner and more presents.

Happy Birthday Katelyn!!

Katelyn got a Bow and Arrow set for Christmas so Kris
was outside showing her how to shoot it.

10 MORE pet shops!!!

Katelyn"s 8th Birthday

For Katelyn"s birthday I had just a 2 of her girlfriends over for a manicure and a pedicure. Katelyn got a nail polish set for Christmas so she wanted to use that. The girls had a lot of fun. I made and decorated Katelyn"s cake and it turned out very cute.

Between stocking stuffers, Christmas and her bithday,
Katelyn now has 61 pet shops.

My birthday

For my birthday Kris took me out for dinner. We went to Mama Stortini's. It is a wonderful Italian restaurant at Kent Station. Thank you Kris for a wonderful dinner. I love you.

Sorry Mom and Dad but your "baby" is now 33. :)

Christmas Day dinner

We were excited to have dinner at our house this year. We had the usual crowd, Kris' parents Kathy and David, Kris' grandma Lorraine and us. I had the joy of setting the table with the china my Mom used on her table. It turned out beautiful. Thank you Mom for the dishes and the memories that go with them. I love you.

Christmas Day breakfast

Kris tried to be creative with the pancakes. First he tried Christmas Tree....

Then he tried a snowman. That looked much better!!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2011

As tradition goes, you spend all day and the night before preparing the food and it's gone within minutes. There is always about 2 minutes when everyone stops talking and just chows down. It's when everyone gets that first bite of the stuffing they have been waiting for or that one dish that gets prepared just for the holidays. For me it's the Yams. ;) I love Christmas because it's when everyone and everything stops. You get the chance to catch up with family you only see once or twice a year. You sit and reminisce about the past Christmases when so and so was still around or the good old "Remember when...." stories you hear every year. You don't care that you've heard those stories before because as you sit and look around you realize that's what family is all about. So please enjoy these pictures of my family as much as we have.
